Job Opportunity: Evidence-Based Instructional Interventions

This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced teacher to apply their knowledge and expertise in providing evidence-based instructional interventions aligned with whole-school approaches.

As a School Group Tuition Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to plan and deliver literacy and/or numeracy interventions that address the specific learning support needs of identified students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose the specific literacy and/or numeracy needs of identified students using data-driven insights
  • Implement the teaching and learning assessment cycle (plan, teach, monitor, and assess) for each group of students, aligned with the WA Curriculum and reflective of the existing classroom program
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to address the diverse needs of students

Eligibility:

  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment

  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting employment
