Rehabilitation Therapist Position

Our correctional facility in the Central Tablelands of NSW seeks skilled professionals to provide evidence-based psychological services. As a rehabilitation therapist, you will work alongside a collaborative team that values ethical practice, respect, and integrity.

Your Role

As a Rehabilitation Therapist, your responsibilities include conducting assessments and interventions, facilitating group-based rehabilitation programs, providing expert consultation to staff on mental health and trauma, and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • You will work with men in custody, supporting their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and networking opportunities.

  • Interest in trauma-informed practice, cognitive impairment, forensic risk, or behaviour change.
  • A strong ethical foundation and commitment to evidence-based practice.
