Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Director to lead multiple programs in delivering targeted outcomes and benefits. Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you will oversee the full program lifecycle, from design through to embedding outcomes, while applying best practice governance and program management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple aligned programs to deliver strategic objectives
  • Report directly to the Head of Transformation – Technology Service Delivery (Portfolio Lead)
  • Apply best practice project and program management approaches in line with corporate governance principles
  • Oversee programs and projects through the full lifecycle, from design through to embedding results
  • Support Program Managers in building and maintaining high-performing teams
  • E nsure strong delivery standards across safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years' experience leading large, diverse teams in complex environments
  • Recognised program/project management certification
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale programs in senior leadership roles
  • Strong ability to build organisational capability, drive transformation, and foster collaboration
  • Experience managing contractors and delivery partners to achieve program outcomes
  • Demonstrated values-based leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management
Essential Criteria
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Ability to achieve and maintain an Australian Government National Security Clearance at the required level
