Project Coordination Role

A key contributor to the development and delivery of a comprehensive portfolio of projects aimed at establishing a commercial-scale carbon capture network in Victoria, Australia.

The role involves providing detailed scheduling and planning advice to assist the team as they progress through the final stages of the project establishment phase, culminating in a Final Investment decision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, update, and monitor individual work package schedules and integrate them into an overall master program schedule.
  • Support internal customers with project scheduling and analysis services.
  • Liaise with project teams and contractors regarding the scheduling of activities, development of project plans and projections, resource loading requirements, and the identification of milestones, integrating these into the overall project schedule.
  • Provide business improvement initiatives for the deployment of new processes, procedures, and systems to support the project.
Requirements:
  • Strategic and tactical approach with ability to work collaboratively to deliver results.
  • Confident in analysing risk and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and influencing skills.
  • Significant experience in a relevant project scheduler position or similar role within Pipeline and/or Oil & Gas.
  • Extensive experience in project controls and time/schedule management with a high level of competency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
  • Advanced understanding/knowledge of project execution processes/workflow, schedule baseline development and maintenance, progress measurement and project management reporting systems.
