We are currently in search of a Plant Nutrition Manager to enhance support for our branch and independent operations throughout South Australia and Western Victoria. This role will focus on identifying plant nutrition challenges faced by local growers, developing tailored product solutions, and driving sales growth within our plant nutrition offerings.
Reporting directly to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, this position will collaborate with various departments, including agronomy, branch management, division leadership, technical services, marketing, supply chain, and customer support.
Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with agronomists to pinpoint local grower plant nutrition challenges and aligning them with appropriate product solutions, including training on proprietary technologies and crop nutrition.
- Coordinating with internal teams to explore product development opportunities and generate local trial data.
- Creating sales initiatives aimed at achieving budgeted sales growth for the portfolio.
- Engaging with division management on goal setting, growth targets, focus products, and key geographic areas.
- Conducting annual product forecasting and managing ongoing forecasts in collaboration with the supply chain.
About you:
- Demonstrated expertise in crop fertility and plant nutrition.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Considerable experience in the agricultural retail sector is preferred.
