About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Coordinator to join our team at City of Ryde. As a key member of our transport planning team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing transport strategies that shape the future of our city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transport plans and strategies that align with the City of Ryde's vision and goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address transport-related issues and opportunities
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform transport planning decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community groups
  • Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders on transport-related matters
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in transport planning, urban planning, or a related field
  • Proven experience in transport planning, strategy, or policy development
  • Strong technical skills in transport planning, including the ability to assess feasibility, build and analyze evidence, and communicate complex issues to others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with senior staff, government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve targets
