Join a team delivering sustainable projects that advance community quality of life. As a Geotechnical Expertise Specialist, you will contribute to geotechnical expertise in residential, transport and infrastructure projects from investigation to detail design and construction supervision.About the RoleThis role involves providing geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls. You will plan, coordinate and manage field data acquisition, site investigations, testing and produce calculations, reporting, specifications and drawings.Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, program and coordinate geotechnical project inputs, to deliver agreed outputs on time and to agreed quality standards.
  • Undertake geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls.
  • Provide quality check and review experience to an appropriate technical standard.
  • Prepare proposals and carry out other marketing initiatives as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a senior engineer in your current role.
  • Experience with soil investigation, supervision and geotechnical design.
  • Previous experience with engineering software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.
