Geotechnical Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have expertise in geotechnical engineering, including design work, project management, client communication, report writing, and project commercials.

About the Role

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Designing geotechnical solutions for projects;
  • Managing projects from initiation to completion;
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and deliver results;
  • Preparing reports and presentations to stakeholders;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in geotechnical engineering or a related discipline;
  • 10+ years' experience and knowledge in areas such as slope stability, foundation design, retaining systems, ground improvement, and large-scale investigations;
  • A solid understanding of local ground conditions, geotechnical risks, and relevant regulatory frameworks;
  • Proven ability to manage projects, engage with clients, and lead multidisciplinary teams;
  • A genuine passion for mentoring and developing emerging talent;
  • A proactive approach to building and nurturing long-term client relationships;
  • A collaborative spirit and commitment to sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement.
