About the Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the development of internal and external finance programs to support equipment sales through financing and finance program development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning
    • Develop and oversee internal and external finance programs for all product lines in collaboration with Brandt sales executives.
    • Provide strategic guidance to the Brandt Finance team on future opportunities and competitive pressures.
    • Manage and develop Retail Finance Managers and assist in building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.
    • Work with the Brandt Finance and sales teams to identify and acquire strategic customers.
  • Operations
    • Achieve sales and market share goals for the long-term success of Brandt Finance.
    • Monitor competitive intelligence from the marketplace to ensure Brandt Finance provides superior products.
    • Support Equipment Sales.
    • Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Qualifications
    • At least 10 years of direct equipment finance-related experience in progressively senior management roles is required.
    • Prior Brandt group experience is considered an asset.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
