The Navy Synthetic Warfighting Centre is a cutting-edge facility that provides warfare training and command and control training for the Royal Australian Navy, as well as Joint and Combined forces. Located at Naval Base HMAS Watson in Watsons Bay NSW, it offers a range of systems and facilities that support live, virtual and constructive (LVC) simulation-enabled training at the individual, unit and force level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide realistic command chain actions and reactions to assist with the training of Customer personnel to achieve maritime warfare training outcomes.
  • Act as a role player, professional interactor, and generalist with expertise in ADF tactics, doctrine and procedures, Anti-submarine warfare tactics and procedures, Anti-air warfare tactics and procedures, and Electronic Warfare tactics and procedures.
  • Coordinate synthetic training events, provide input to exercise related pre and post-event documentation, and maintain a minimum Security Clearance of NV1.
Requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised, assist in the delivery of structured training programmes, and demonstrate personal and professional skills and build sound stakeholder relationships.
  • Capability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes, problem-solving skills, and eligibility to access ITAR information.
