Role Summary

We are seeking an Exercise and Simulation Control (EXCON/SIMCON) Specialist to deliver high-fidelity simulation experiences that replicate real-world maritime warfare scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver blue-force and/or red-force simulation functions with tactical accuracy.
  • Apply knowledge of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Anti-Air Warfare (AAW), Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Air Space Management.
  • Coordinate and execute synthetic training events.
  • Operate simulation systems within EXCON/SIMCON environments.
  • Provide realistic role-play for training scenarios.
  • Contribute to pre- and post-event exercise documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Australian citizen with current security clearance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Eligible to access sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of current naval simulation doctrine, tactics, and procedures.
  • Experience in military training environments.
  • Familiarity with naval voice procedures.
  • Combat System Operator or Air Warfare Specialist background.
  • Understanding of training systems, exercise development, and command and control systems.
