Simulation Educator and Manager

The Department of Defence seeks a motivated individual to provide business support in simulation. Located at HMAS Penguin, Sydney, this position will work in an office environment as part of a small team responsible for coordinating simulations, resource management, logistics, procurement, and governance functions.

  • Manage bookings of simulation areas for RAN Medical School courses and external organisations.
  • Design and deliver simulation-based educational activities for RANMS.
  • Coordinate facility and equipment bookings, activity resourcing, health logistics, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Consult with instructors on the governance of sim-integration into course curriculum.
  • Manage maintenance of simulation equipment and items within RAN Medical School, and manage stores and consumable requirements within the department.
  • Assist in running simulations for RAN Medical School courses and external organisations, and manage administrative requirements within the department.
  • Contribute towards ongoing improvement of work practices.

The team is a cohort of multidisciplinary military healthcare professionals with diverse experience and knowledge within the RAN. We are enthusiastic, dynamic, goal-driven, and enjoy shaping the future of Navy medical training.
