Perinatal Mental Health Professional

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Perinatal Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality clinical services to women, their infants, partners, and families experiencing perinatal and infant mental health problems.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Social Work and current registration with relevant professional bodies. Experience running groups and providing individual therapy is highly regarded.

About the Role

  • Provide advanced level clinical services including individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for complex and general caseloads at an advanced level.
  • Liaise with external agencies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders where necessary.
  • Ensure effective teamwork through professional communication and liaison with colleagues, patients/carers, and service providers.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Social Work.
  • Current registration with relevant professional bodies (AASW/AHPRA).
  • Medicare provider number.
  • Experience running groups and providing individual therapy is highly regarded.
