Perinatal Mental Health Clinician
The role of the Perinatal Mental Health Clinician is to provide advanced level clinical services, including a range of individualized and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring at an advanced level for complex and general caseloads
- Ensure effective multidisciplinary teamwork through professional communication and comprehensive liaison with colleagues, patient/carers and service providers
- Liaise with compensable bodies, financial institutions and external care agencies where appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote effective communication and develop strategies for delivering high-quality patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services and make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Social Work and hold current registration with relevant professional body (AASW/AHPRA). Applicants must also hold or be eligible for a Medicare provider number. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment is highly regarded. Experience running groups and providing individual therapy will be seen as a significant advantage.
Salary Package:
A competitive salary package including 12% Superannuation is available for this position, along with opportunities for salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses.
