About the Role

The Faculty Dean will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to the Faculty, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and inclusivity. This role requires a strong track record of academic leadership, research scholarship, and experience in teaching and industry collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Faculty
  • Lead and manage faculty members to achieve academic excellence
  • Collaborate with industry partners to develop curriculum and research initiatives
  • Monitor student progress and participation, and provide support to students at risk
  • Manage instances of student code of conduct violations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD or close to completing a PhD in a relevant discipline
  • A strong track record of research scholarship and academic leadership
  • Experience in teaching and industry collaboration
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the gaming industry, animation, and visual effects
