Legal Director Position

This role presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in the energy sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on statutory interpretation, regulatory compliance, and contractual obligations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including EPC and battery supply contracts.
  • Collaborate with operational, commercial, and HR teams to deliver effective legal solutions.
  • Develop strategies to identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks across the business.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and contractual requirements, promoting a culture of compliance and governance.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 10 years' post-admission legal experience, preferably gained in both top-tier law firms and in-house environments.
  • Proven expertise in the energy, renewables, or infrastructure sectors, with a strong background in EPC contracts and battery supply agreements.
  • Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Able to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary and global teams.

Key Requirements
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing competing priorities under time pressure.
  • Mandarin language skills an advantage but not essential.
