Front Desk Associate

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Front Desk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be available to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests, in person or on the telephone;
  • Answering questions or referring inquiries or addressing complaints;
  • Preparing outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc;
  • Maintaining the front desk area tidy, clean and presentable;
  • Scheduling appointments and managing booking records and files;
  • Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when necessary;
  • Opening and closing the establishment;
  • Room Reservation and assignment;
  • Guest registration, verifying identification and check-in, cashier work, create room keys;
  • Advising housekeeping staff to handle tasks when rooms are vacated;
  • Anticipating, recognizing, meeting others' needs and taking up other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in English (oral and written);
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word);
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc);
  • Strong communication and people skills;
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Reliable, efficient and punctual;
  • Passionate, confident and honest;
  • Customer service orientation - a smile and willingness to please customers;
