The Role

The Motor Assessing Manager is a key leadership position responsible for driving the Assessing Business forward. This involves leading a team of technical, process, and customer service experts to achieve market-leading cost capabilities through the application of Auto & General's Repair Method and Assessing Quality Assurance Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Assessing Business to drive market-leading cost capabilities
  • Coach and mentor team members to build relationships, set clear goals, and foster learning opportunities
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating our values and influencing how they are lived within the team
  • Represent the Leadership Team and demonstrate self-management and positive influence
  • Lead the team to achieve quality business results and connect daily work with Auto & General's purpose
What We're Looking For
  • Leadership experience with line leadership and thought leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills, high-level problem-solving, and systems thinking
  • Ability to lead innovation and change, including personal resilience
  • Experience and knowledge of the motor body repair industry
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and apply new learning to improve business performance
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to meet service delivery expectations
  • Commercial acumen
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Relevant Trade qualification
