Our organization seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Alice Springs, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with security authorization packages.
  • Coordinate changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of systems with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to the change.
  • Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctly.
  • Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to authorized individuals.
  • Attend required technical and security training relative to assigned duties.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or MCSA. Experience in Intelligence Community Directive 503 and Risk Management Framework, as well as Linux experience, is also essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to brief at all levels are necessary.
