As a skilled Telecommunications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in installing, testing and commissioning fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure for clients. Your expertise in deploying and decommissioning enterprise ICT and computer equipment, including server cabinets and racks, will be invaluable to our team.

You will have the opportunity to utilise your knowledge of cable management, encompassing containment baskets/trays and ducting, to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will mentor and train apprentices in cable installation techniques, fostering their development and growth within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test and commission fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure.
  • Deploy and decommission enterprise ICT and computer equipment.
  • Mentor and train apprentices in cable management and installation techniques.
Requirements:
  • A current white card and ACMA cabling licence with endorsements in structured and fibre optics is essential.
  • Electricians must hold a valid NSW electrical licence.
  • Experience in technical telecommunications, particularly in fit outs and advanced fibre optic installations, is highly desirable.
  • NV1 security clearance is highly preferred or applicants must be willing and able to undergo this clearance upon employment.
  • Confidence in working with servers, networking equipment, routers, switches, cooling units and WiFi is crucial.
