Optical Device Quality Assurance Lead

This role requires a seasoned quality leader to oversee quality control activities in an Optical Device manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, training, and developing a team of highly technical quality control inspectors.

Key responsibilities include evaluating staffing needs, supervising and developing the quality control team, inspecting and testing components and assemblies, managing quality records, and resolving non-conformances through the Material Review Board process.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Quality Control, with 3+ years in a tight-tolerance or technical manufacturing environment, and 3+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Control in a tight-tolerance/technical field.

Additionally, the candidate should be proficient with Microsoft 365 suite of applications and have experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality engineering teams.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, experience in optical device manufacturing, metrology, or inspection of precision optical or mechanical components, and a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
