Job Title

A skilled Woodworking Consultant is required to operate machinery, prepare plans and conduct site inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a variety of woodworking equipment and hand tools to assemble timber components.
  • Prepare detailed cutting lists and layouts for production.
  • Conduct thorough site joinery inspections and service work to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Perform skilled joinery re-works, modifications and repairs as required.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished components to guarantee they meet quality dimensions and standards.
  • Provide on-site repairs and maintenance for timber joinery.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in operating a wide range of woodworking equipment and hand tools.
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Expertise in joinery construction techniques including precise joint cutting and laminating.
  • Extensive knowledge of timber properties and manufactured boards (MDF, plywood).
  • Demonstrated skill in diagnosing faults and performing high-quality repairs.
  • High degree of accuracy in conducting site measurements and translating them into production-ready plans.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to producing high-quality workmanship and finishes.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to effectively troubleshoot issues both in the workshop and on-site.
  • A strong awareness of and commitment to workplace health and safety at all times.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet strict project deadlines.
