Job Overview:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Canberra. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality services and achieving efficiencies.
The successful candidate will be directly engaged in the operations of the business, accountable for enhancing the reputation and image of Evolve FM through exemplary customer interaction and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribution of daily mail, coding invoices, check and confirm bank reconciliations, lease outgoing reconciliations, etc.
- Handle phone and email enquiries in an effective and efficient manner, liaise with the AP team.
- Maintain and monitor accounts payable for designated clients.
- Assist Finance Administrator with client reporting and other ad hoc tasks.
- Ensure void cheques are actioned according to finance guidelines.
- Provide a high level of customer service to the clients, third parties, and other staff members.
- Maintain high-level accuracy and attention to detail and manage a designated mailbox for accounts payable.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills – telephone, written, and in-person – and at least intermediate level of competency in office products such as Word and Excel.
You should be proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities, while possessing a can-do attitude.
