Effective Clinical Leadership Role
The role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager is a critical leadership position that requires strong clinical expertise, exceptional time management skills, and a positive attitude.
This role facilitates the smooth operation of the Perioperative department under the supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
- Providing leadership and direction to the department to complement strategic objectives, operational processes, and business goals
- Supporting all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area
- Reporting to and working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to achieve organisational objectives
This role holds a key leadership function and requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity. The successful candidate will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and possess strong clinical skillset.
The remuneration package includes a base hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications.
