About the Role:- You will facilitate the smooth operation of the Perioperative department, under the NUM, with a can-do attitude and strong customer service focus.
- Apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- Provide a support role to all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area.
- You will provide leadership and direction to the department to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, budget, and business direction of the unit and hospital.
- Your positive attitude, ability to prioritise, delegate and adapt, along with your excellent time management skills are of critical importance for this role.
- This position holds a key leadership function and will see you report to and work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to achieve organisational goals.
- Relieve the NUM role during periods of leave.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in this role.
- Strong clinical skillset.
On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager yr1-yr2)

Requirements:- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
