Senior Agribusiness Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive agribusiness experience to lead our QLD team forward as a key growth market in our business strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Relationship Managers across QLD
  • Enhancing sales strategies for the state and ensuring those strategies are understood and well executed by the team
  • SUPPORTING the team through change, technology transformation and coming out on the other side with an engaged and collaborative crew who are committed to adopting successful sales operating rhythms and who have our customers front of mind in everything they do
  • Investing in people, providing mentoring and coaching to further their development and progression as well as timely feedback and support when it's needed to ensure performance outcomes are achieved
  • Establishing a culture built on accountability and achieving outcomes in a way that is true to our values

This is not your average Regional Manager role. You will have a seat at the Agri Senior Leadership Team table where we will encourage you to challenge the status quo and stretch into strategic development opportunities.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading a large agribusiness team with deep knowledge of lending and credit risk principles
  • Up-to-date knowledge and insights of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows and markets
  • PASSIONATE about developing others through robust approach to coaching, including sales and performance management
  • Deep understanding of the tools and principles that enhance operational excellence and drive a culture focused on continuous improvement
  • The ability to collaborate and think outside the square to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions across all divisions of the bank
  • Demonstrated exposure in successfully leading a team/business through multifaceted transformation and change will be highly regarded
  • A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline
