Job Title:

Electrical Tradesperson

At our underground mine, we are seeking experienced Electrical Tradespeople to join our team. The successful applicants will have a proven track record in an underground coal mining environment and be passionate about mining.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, maintain, and operate underground mining equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
About You:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Underground Coal Mining.
  • Certificate of proficiency in an electrical trade.
  • Sound knowledge of underground mining equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
