Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the field of heavy diesel fitting, supporting the maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.

The role involves performing servicing, repair and maintenance of a range of heavy earthmoving equipment including Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu and more.

As a skilled fitter or electrician, you will be responsible for mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment from sites, sourcing technical information and ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained.

Work order management and assisting with tasks as required will also form part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing servicing, repair and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment from sites
  • Sourcing technical information from relevant reference manuals and computer-based systems
  • Ensuring good housekeeping standards are always maintained
  • Assisting with work order management and other tasks as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Proven experience as a fitter or electrician

Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry

Relevant Certificate of Proficiency issued by Training NSW

Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component changeouts, servicing and diagnostic trouble shooting of Heavy Earthmoving equipment

Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu large earthmoving equipment is preferred

OEM experience desirable

Current drivers license

Valid Australian Citizenship or visa
