Experienced Underground Electrician Wanted

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced underground electrician to join our team. As an underground electrician, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining and operating underground mining equipment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and commissioning new electrical equipment
  • Maintaining and repairing existing electrical systems
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborating with the team to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in underground coal mining
  • A certificate of proficiency in an electrical trade
  • Solid knowledge of underground mining equipment and machinery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
