Leadership Role in Crisis Service

This leadership position is part of a dedicated team delivering crisis services to individuals affected by personal violence and abuse. Our goal is to create pathways for a life free from violence and fear.

As an experienced leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of Womensline services, aligning with operational, contractual, and legislative requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading and mentoring a team of practitioners across various shifts
  2. Conducting risk assessments and case recommendations
  3. Overseeing staff workflows, conducting performance reviews, and providing professional judgment to support complex client cases
  4. Liaising with external stakeholders, participating in meetings, and contributing to service delivery tasks

In this dynamic environment, you will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to address various challenges and opportunities.

We are seeking an empowering and highly experienced human services practitioner who shares our commitment to social justice and creating a life free from violence and abuse.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven leadership experience in domestic and family violence, sexual violence, or trauma counselling
  • Completed tertiary qualifications in Social and Behavioural Sciences or a related field
  • Well-developed knowledge and analysis of the effects, causes, and dynamics of domestic and family violence
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills
