Job Description:

We are seeking a Shutdown Maintenance Planner to lead maintenance scheduling and support equipment reliability across multiple mining sites.

The successful candidate will have experience with CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment in a mining environment, and strong planning and scheduling background using CMMS tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shutdown Preparation and Implementation
  • Align Planning with Labour Capacity, Tooling, and Part Availability
  • Coordinate Breakdown Responses and Adjust Plans to Minimize Downtime
  • Lead Weekly and Daily Maintenance Planning Meetings with Site Stakeholders
  • Monitor Completion of Plans using Emeco Operating System (EOS) Reports
  • Close Out Work Orders in AMT (CMMS) and Ensure Data Accuracy
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade qualification (preferably in HME); planning/management degree is a bonus. Otherwise - Experience in this field of work.
  • Experience with CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment in a mining environment.
  • Strong planning and scheduling background using CMMS tools (We use AMT).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of mining operations and equipment reliability drivers.
