Job Description

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and equipment by coordinating maintenance schedules, monitoring assets, and managing work orders.

This role involves transferring assets in PRONTO where required, monitoring and actioning the Group Asset Email Inbox, co-ordinating weekly work order servicing schedules to reduce downtime of fleet and equipment, and managing work orders and all associated documentation regarding assets with the CMMS.

Key responsibilities include loading and maintaining new assets in the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), which is Pronto, and managing scheduled oil sampling (SOS) within the CAT system.

Continuous monitoring of schedules and plans to ensure continuous improvement is also a key aspect of this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and obligations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Australia based candidates - Essential
  • Current & Valid Driver's licence - Essential
  • Mechanical Trade with mobile plant experience - Essential
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a planning role - Essential
  • Solid understanding of equipment and maintenance safety systems, processes and procedures within transport and mobile plant mining environment - Essential
  • Experience working with a computerised CMMS system, preferably PRONTO - Essential
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical, incl. Drug & Alcohol screen - Essential
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (preferably Outlook, Word & Excel) - Essential
  • Excellent presentation, organisation, and communication skills - Essential
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Trade qualification in mobile maintenance road transport or heavy plant - Essential
  • Good communication skills to deal with multiple remote sites
  • Understanding of road transport and mining regulations - Essential
