Palliative Care Leadership Opportunity
Join our esteemed healthcare organization in a leadership role that drives quality improvement and patient-centered care. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of palliative care services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert clinical advice and consultancy in palliative and supportive care
- Leading and participating in quality improvement initiatives to drive evidence-based practice
- Developing and delivering education programs for multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in research and strategic initiatives to enhance palliative care services
- Driving practice improvement through clinical reviews and audits
Requirements for this role include:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum five years full-time equivalent post-registration experience in palliative care or a related specialty field
- Postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to the field
- Proven experience in policy development, implementation, review, and redevelopment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and develop/maintain professional relationships across multiple disciplines
- Demonstrated knowledge of information technology skills
- Ability to assess, plan, initiate, and manage complex cases
