We are seeking a Senior Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects.

About the role:

The Senior Water Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for providing technical leadership on water infrastructure projects, including project planning, scoping, and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in water infrastructure, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, pumping stations, and pipelines.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality project deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to identify business opportunities and promote the company's services.

  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies for business growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical).

  • Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status.

  • At least 8 years' experience in water infrastructure design and delivery, preferably in a consulting environment.

  • Strong technical expertise in water infrastructure design, including hydraulic modeling, water quality, and materials selection.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality project outcomes, on time and within budget.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and technologies, including Autodesk Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
