About our vision and mission:
We aim to see a community that knows Jesus by making disciples who grow in Christ for God's glory.
This role extends our vision, partnering with Anglicare and local retirement villages.
As a Village Chaplain, you will serve three days a week at Warriewood Brook Village, including Sunday mornings.
You will work alongside two other part-time village chaplains to meet the spiritual needs of residents and staff.
The ideal candidate will be a godly and gifted person, able to lead the chaplaincy team, develop pastoral care, and provide leadership for weekly church services.
They will also lead opportunities for residents, providing discipleship and Christian input through Bible study groups, equipping believers for ministry and mission.
We seek someone with excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal relationships, and a passion for serving others.
Responsibilities include leading worship services, conducting pastoral visits, and developing strategies for resident engagement.
This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to a supportive community environment.
Experience in a similar role or training in theology, counseling, or a related field would be beneficial.
We offer a chance to work collaboratively, develop your skills, and grow professionally in a dynamic and supportive team.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
If you are passionate about serving others, have excellent communication skills, and a heart for ministry, we encourage you to apply.
Please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.
