The Role

We're seeking an experienced Show Experience Lead to support the execution and production of events in Canberra. As a local leader, you'll ensure the highest-quality experience and safety at every Sofar show, working closely with our regional and local teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison to facilitate connection between Sofar and the local community
  • Manage day-of event supplies and local gear inventory
  • Conduct venue visits and develop local events to bring the team and community together
  • Scout and recommend artists, venues, crew, and community partners that align with Sofar's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and representation
  • Work shows regularly, up to 15 per month, and be an expert on the local market

  • You're driven to support artists and bring people together
  • You have a deep love of live music and are connected to the local music community
  • You can work autonomously but remain connected, with people management experience and a sincere and empathetic approach to work and communications
  • You're organized, detail-oriented, and work well with deadlines and problem-solving
