A leading infrastructure company is seeking a skilled Excavation Engineer to join their project team.
About the RoleThe Excavation Engineer will be responsible for coordinating excavation activities, planning resources and systems, and ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are upheld. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate excavation activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
- Assist in planning materials, equipment, and systems for efficient excavation operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders during planning and execution.
- Monitor budgets and schedules, including cost control and lookahead planning.
- Interpret excavation-specific design plans and geotechnical drawings.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in excavation or underground construction projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and proactive approach to safety and compliance.
