Working as part of the delivery team on a large-scale excavation and earthworks package in Sydney, you'll will be responsible for safe, efficient, and accurate operation of heavy plant and equipment to achieve project milestones.
Great opportunity to join a contractor with a large excavation team working on a $20m+ excavation package.
Responsibilities- Operate excavators and other plants to complete bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, and trenching works.
- Ensure that you comply with WHS standards, site safety procedures, and environmental controls.
- Undertake excavation works in proximity to live services with care and precision.
- Coordinate with Supervisors, Engineers, Surveyors, and fellow operators.
- Optimise machine use to meet program and productivity targets while minimising rework.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating an excavator
- Construction Safety Induction (White) card
- Ideally worked on large sites with 20+ excavators
- Strong financial analysis and administrative focus
