The Site Engineer, Excavation will play a pivotal part in delivering complex underground works for the Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2 Project.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team of experienced professionals and contribute to the successful delivery of this major infrastructure project.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate excavation activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution
  • Assist in planning materials, equipment, and systems for efficient excavation operations
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders during planning and execution
  • Monitor budgets and schedules, including cost control and 3-week lookahead planning
  • Interpret excavation-specific design plans and geotechnical drawings
  • Support and guide early-career engineers through mentorship and knowledge-sharing
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in excavation or underground construction projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster inclusive team environments
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and compliance
