National Account Executive role at a leading Australian dairy company.

The National Account Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the Yoghurts and Desserts Grocery Sales team with analysis and administration relating to the management of the product portfolio within the Coles and Woolworths accounts.

About The Position

The vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion and reports directly to the Customer Director - Grocery, for the Yoghurts and Desserts Business Unit.

Your primary responsibility is to provide strategic support to the sales team through data-driven insights, promotional submissions, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimise product performance by leveraging data analysis, completing promotional submissions, and ensuring timely administrative tasks;
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, systems management, and trade spend activities (APO and TPM);
  • Deliver financial targets related to volume, net sales, and gross margin contribution;
  • Identify opportunities for growth through data analysis and actively pursue ranging, sales, market share, and profit improvement possibilities;
  • Maintain accurate sales and customer insights trackers for Coles and WWs;
  • Process and investigate claims from respective customers;
  • Support the preparation of business and category review presentations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in FMCG sales/marketing, including account management at either a National or State Level;
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel), iRI, Quantium, and SAP;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and attention to detail skills;
  • Intermediate negotiation and presentation skills.
