Operations Director Job

This pivotal leadership position oversees operations across multiple areas, focusing on quality management, process optimisation and customer service. As a key member of the executive team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's operations strategy.

Job Description:

The Operations Director will be responsible for managing sizeable production areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive team environment. This includes:

  • Managing production areas to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Leading quality management initiatives and maintaining strict compliance adherence
  • Developing and implementing process improvements and optimisations
  • Ensuring absolute compliance with OH&S regulations and promoting a safe working environment
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will possess:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

An engineering degree (manufacturing, mechanical or aerospace) is essential, with experience in casting and machining highly advantageous. Proficiency in APQP methodologies, including FAI, 8D, PFMEA and SPC is also required. Management and project management certifications are beneficial but not necessary.
