Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our grant attraction program, securing funding for Council priorities and building strong relationships with external stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and coordinating high-quality funding submissions that maximize investment success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local government sector and experience in developing and implementing project plans. They will also possess excellent writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build capacity within teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with representatives from State and Federal government departments.
  • Coordinate small cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes and build capacity within teams.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing project plans.
  • High-level administrative skills to effectively centralize and manage information, correspondence, and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or a similar discipline with extensive management experience or intensive specialist experience.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and collaboratively plan and deliver project outcomes within set timelines.
  • Demonstrated experience and capability to manage administrative and planning aspects of projects along with strong project management skills.
