Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Royal Rehab LifeWorks. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality interventions and therapy support to our clients across both LifeWorks Cairns and Atherton.
Key Responsibilities- Client Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify rehabilitation and disability support needs, and develop individualized interventions and therapy support plans.
- Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Client Goal Setting and Support: Identify and support client goal setting, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help clients achieve their goals.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and treatment techniques, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Qualifications: A degree in Exercise Physiology and accreditation with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
- Experience: Previous experience working within a private hospital or rehabilitation environment, preferably with neurological disorders including stroke and Parkinson's Disease.
- Skills: Excellent organisation and time management skills, strong commitment and professionalism to customer-centred care, and experience building long-lasting patient relationships.
