Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a permanent part-time, casual, or contractor basis. As an Exercise Physiologist at Physionorth, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with musculoskeletal conditions, athletes, and seniors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with patients to develop personalized exercise programs to improve strength, mobility, and overall health
  • Assist patients in achieving their goals through a variety of exercise modalities, including functional training, Pilates, and hydrotherapy
  • Lead group exercise classes, including functional training, athletes, and seniors exercise
  • Collaborate with physiotherapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Work with patients with musculoskeletal conditions, athletes, and seniors to develop exercise programs tailored to their needs
Requirements
  • Current accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist
  • Membership in a professional association, such as the Australian Association of Sport and Exercise Science
  • Professional and public liability insurance
  • Registration with private health funds, Medicare, and DVA
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Experience in group exercise is preferred but not essential
  • Current police clearance
