Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will deliver exceptional Exercise Physiologist interventions and therapeutic support to clients in multiple settings. As a vital member of the Allied Health team, your responsibilities will encompass assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client-focused interventions within a goal-oriented framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying rehabilitation and disability support needs for clients.
  • Developing individualized intervention plans and therapy support strategies.
  • Providing high-quality clinical services related to assessment, treatment, and evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitating client goal setting and progress tracking.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary Allied Health team.
  • Making referrals to both internal and external service providers.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and staying informed on the latest research and treatment methodologies.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a balanced approach to managing a diverse caseload, demonstrating a commitment to holistic care and quality support for clients. You will be dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients by providing informed advice and support regarding exercise to help them manage various health conditions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree in Exercise Physiology.
  • Accreditation with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
  • Ability to function independently as a clinician while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in a private hospital or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
  • Experience with neurological disorders, including stroke and Parkinson's Disease, is advantageous.
  • PD Warrior certification or willingness to undergo training is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A strong commitment to customer-centered care and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships with patients.
  • A motivated and positive attitude.
