Key Responsibilities- Client Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their rehabilitation needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Therapy Support and Planning: Deliver evidence-based therapy support to clients, including exercise programs and education, to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Client Goal Setting and Progress Monitoring: Work with clients to set and achieve realistic goals, and regularly monitor their progress to adjust intervention plans as needed.
- Professional Development and Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in exercise physiology and rehabilitation, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in exercise physiology and rehabilitation, with a focus on delivering high-quality, client-centered care. You will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Essential Criteria- Qualifications: A degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field, and accreditation with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
- Experience: Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a private hospital or rehabilitation environment.
- Skills: Excellent organization and time management skills, strong commitment to client-centered care, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
