Product Management Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to lead our product development and management efforts. This role will play a critical part in shaping customer value propositions and driving product performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial services products, preferably in Everyday Banking, Deposits or Insurance. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Manage and enhance the portfolio of banking products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare pricing recommendations, contribute to product reviews and audits, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
  • Develop business cases for new products and enhancements, support project delivery, and prepare post-implementation reviews.
  • Oversee the performance monitoring and product governance of the banking product portfolio.
  • Own and manage risks, controls, issues and incidents.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across bank-wide projects and strategic initiatives, championing innovation, process optimization, and change that enhances customer outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services product management, preferably in Everyday Banking, Deposits or Insurance.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record in managing risk and controls and delivering change.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to develop product growth and profitability.
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or economics or marketing (or equivalent experience).
