About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cultural Heritage Support Officer to join our team at Powerlink Queensland. As a key member of our Cultural Heritage team, you will provide essential administrative and logistical support to facilitate engagement with Traditional Owner groups, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Cultural Heritage Officers in engaging with Traditional Owner groups and stakeholders, coordinating meetings, managing logistics, budgets, and schedules.
  • Maintain Cultural Heritage databases and records, ensuring governance and compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist with financial processes including invoicing and purchasing, liaising with Administrative Support for reconciliation and stakeholder responses.
  • Organise travel, meetings, and catering; prepare agendas, minutes, and proofread/edit information.
  • Provide high-level support for Cultural Heritage team initiatives, including liaison with Traditional Owner groups and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to internal queries on Cultural Heritage matters, conduct database searches, and prepare timely responses.
  • Assist in workflow administration and provide training and guidance to support team effectiveness.
