About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cultural Heritage Support Officer to join our team at Powerlink Queensland. As a key member of our Cultural Heritage team, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring compliance with cultural heritage obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Cultural Heritage team, including coordinating meetings, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining databases and records.
  • Support Cultural Heritage Officers in engaging with Traditional Owner groups and stakeholders, and assist with financial processes, including invoicing and purchasing.
  • Organize travel, meetings, and catering, and prepare agendas, minutes, and proofread/edit information.
  • Provide high-level support for Cultural Heritage team initiatives, including liaison with Traditional Owner groups and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to internal queries on Cultural Heritage matters, conduct database searches, and prepare timely responses.
  • Assist in workflow administration and provide training and guidance to support team effectiveness.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate IV in Business Administration or related discipline, and experience in project, accounts, or administrative support roles, with a focus on process improvement. You will also have the ability to recognize and respond to sensitive Traditional Owner and stakeholder issues, and experience in working in diverse and cross-functional teams.
