Senior Technical Leadership Role

SLR Consulting is a global leader in mining consultancy, delivering responsible and high-impact solutions across the full mining lifecycle. This role will play a key part in guiding our team through strategic recruitment and continued development, fostering collaboration and alignment across multiple states. Key responsibilities include managing group financial performance, overseeing technical output quality and developing relationships between internal and external clients.

Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in tailings engineering with a consulting background, including tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical / Civil / Mining Engineering.
  • Experience managing teams of consultants across different geographies, project management capability and strong technical knowledge.
  • Ability to plan and deliver site investigations for tailings projects, with demonstrated experience in interpretation of field and laboratory testing of tailings, soils and rock.
  • In-depth understanding of local and global tailings standards and guidelines, e.g. ANCOLD, ICOLD, GISTM.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical report writing ability.
